Cheap Video Upgrade from OfficeMax (unadvertized)

OfficeMax in Chicago Western Suburbs are having unadvertised closeouts. Missed the $39.99 Western Digital 80MB USB drive, but got a PCI version Diamond Radeon 7000 with 64MB for $29.99. Upon checkout, a $20 rebate form printed out.

Again, no guff. I am well aware of how little processing power this has relative to the cards normally discussed on this forum. This is <not> for a gaming machine, but to give my daughter's home work machine a little more speed and let her use the DVD drive for movies. This is for those with a machine that has no AGP port and want a little better graphics than the Intel chipset provides.

Good deal. I find a lot of older onboard video chipsets for socket 370 systems can't even play DVD well.

I recently got the ATI Radeon 9200 (PCI Version) from OD. (Suburban Chicago Store)
It has 128MB DDR.

Funny thing, these were on the shelf with a sale tag of $69.99 each. When I took it up to the cashier to verify the price, it run up for $22.04. Might still be some out there.
