Hello all,
I am looking for a cheap way to film 720p video. The filming will be indoors and well lighted. No rapid motion.
I was considering a pocket HD camcorder (like the Flip) but most are fixed focal length and need to be a minimum of 5 feet from the subject. I need to work with inches, not feet. And I need it to have a tripod mount.
The Sony Touch Bloggie seemed like the best pocket camcorder and it had auto focus for macro work, but at $199, I thought that I might find a budget point and shoot that will do HD video for cheaper.
I'm leaning towards a Nikon S6100, on sale for $149. The video doesnt have to be flawless, just acceptable.
Anyone have any suggestions? Budget is <$200.
Thanks.
