This is an awesome deal RossMAN. I've never used cpanel before (always been with godaddy, which sucks donkey balls) and wanted to check out the demo they have, but the demo doesnt seem to be working.
Also, I dont know if this has been answered or not, but will I be required to auto-renew after the year is done?
Im also looking at HostPC.com.

Jumped on this deal. They're probably sick of me by now though. Does anyone else have domains hosted on ns3 or ns4.cookiehost.com? As far as I can tell these Name servers don't exist and my domain registrar's tool says they are invalid name servers. Anyone?

Are you sure?

Who is your domain registrar?

Did you enter the nameservers into the correct field?

I've had my cookiehost account for 3 weeks now and I can report that:

1. It's really cheap (I got the $11 plan). Credit card went through with no problems.

2. I was able to point my domain name from godaddy.com (where I bought it) to the cookiehost DNS servers with no problem (no worries about them trying to "steal" your domain name)

3. Site seems to have been running nicely since transferred there.

So far, so good, and it's a helluva deal.

Please remember to download backups frequently especially if you have dynamic content (forums, blog, pichosting).

It is YOUR responsibility to download backups, even if your webhost claims to backup data.

Everything is good to go. Had to wait a day for their new name servers to populate the DNS tables but after that no problems.
Hey does anyone know a good mobile(cell phone) email client for horde? I haven't tried IMP, is it any good?

Thanks.

That looks like a replacement for Horde. I was looking for something kinda like gmailmobile, that would let me access my horde inbox or I guess just my inbox(doesn't necessarily have to be through Horde) from my KRZR cell phone. I can access horde through OperaMini, but it takes too many key strokes, I was hoping for an app to install on my phone.
Thanks again.

hey, sorry to chime in so late, but what makes this look as good as the netfirms deal from awhile ago?
i don't know much about webhosting, but it seems like the other deal offers a lot more space online?

thanks all!

A question about these guys.
When I try to order a plan there is an option for 'I already have a domain name OR I will get one' (someting like that....) but I'm getting prompted to enter my domain name anyway and there is no option to not enter it.

What happens? Will the domain be transferred to this new account without me having anything to say about it?

No, you stiill have to set up the name server yourself. That's the beauty of owning the domain name out right, you can set it up for any host.
