Am bringing teen daughter on auto policy in a few months, want to buy her a car that is as cheap as possible to insure, what's the cheapest car for a teen?
That might be more to insure if its a piece of crap.Originally posted by: ElFenix
something really old and valueless. like a 1982 ford escort.

if it's only for liability coverage, won't it be pretty similar regardless?

It'll still be minimum $1200/yr liability for a beginning driver

You could probably ask an insurance agent for help with this, they have entire lists of this kind of information and everything's already calculated.
Although you should really think more about the safety rating of a car than how cheap it is to insure. You don't want your daughter driving a death trap just because you save $50 every 6 months.
