please keep this on topic, criminal charges if these two get busted...cheating discussion is really not what i need right now. i'm contemplating requesting a lock if this gets any more people yelling narc or something stupid...

Do it, turn them in. If I got denied to a really good school because someone paid another person to take the GRE/MCAT/LSAT/what have you, I'd wanna kill.

Too bad they probably got the idea and/or support from their parents. I know several people in HS and in college who have their parents do the homework for them. One was takin an intro CS class, and send the projects off to his dad (MS Sofware Engineer), and of course, gets impossibly high grades and all possible extra credit. It's a good thing he failed both the midterm and the final.

I doubt anyone here can offer real world advice because folks here probably wouldn't try and get them busted. Don't you have other things to worry about? Is this something affecting you in someway? Is it keeping you from money or a scholarship? Is it an X-girl and you're mad? Is it about revenge in anyway?

Oh well, some people like to tell and bust folks. But then, they generally grow up when they get to highschool.

Wow, i can not believe all the people who think its childish to turn someone in for cheating. It's more childish to care if people think you are a narc. So i guess its childish for the university to expect them not to cheat on the test???

Either way what does it matter if there are criminal charges?? You know they are going to cheat it is your responsibility to report them. We aren't talking about some 1984 big brother, turn someone in for saying something bad about bush type of thing. I guess if you saw someone steal something from best buy you wouldn't want to narc on them either would you.

They probably wont face criminal charges for it but the university will punish them to the extent they see fit. It should not be your concern what they do.

Victimless crime to others? No. Colleges set a general number of students they'll admit each year. Every time an undeserving cheater gets admitted, someone who deserves to be admitted isn't.
