Fine by me.

Yay, one big "free troll" zone, eh?

Don't like? Don't click.

Sure. Until then, I'll start making a thread everytime my Grandpa farts, its just about as meaningfull as every poll that RP wins.....

Not really, this board is about P&N, and this is on-topic. Like Vic said, if you don't like it, don't click on it. I'm curious as to why you really care about the existence of several RP threads...

He can raise $200 million and still won't get the nomination. The best thing he can do is change the tone of the GOP.

I think he has the Dems a bit scared. He might be the only Republican who could actually pull a lot of the middle of the road voters.

Hell he's starting to make me think I need to vote for him.

Even if he does change the tone of the GOP, that would be worth it in my eyes.

FYI, I seen a Ron Paul sign stuck to a highway overpass coming into work this morning. The only thing I usually see there is an American Flag. Someone must have thought it appropriate to stick a Ron Paul sign under the flag.

Well that might be true that he has Dems scared, but you see a lot of of the Republican fluffers (PJ, JD50, etc) complaining about RP in every thread related to him. I think he has everyone a little scared that he will eat away at votes of their favorite candidiate. It's that or the whiners are just acting like children. On this board, it is hard to say which scenario is more likely...

jman19: People complain about RP fluffers because they are annoying with their internet spam. Frankly, I like the vast majority of his viewpoints. It's his followers I can't stand. He managed to attract the lowlife conspiracy theorists and anti-semites with his questionable comments on 9/11 (and lending credibility to certain talk show hosts) and his unrealistic stance on the federal reserve.

This summer there was a Ron Paul booth at the state fair. The folks manning the booth looked like it was the first time they had crawled out of their mom's basements in years. My wife looks at them, looks at me with that raised eyebrow and says "who is Ron Paul?".

How is the election affected when and if Ron Paul does not get the Republican nomination, but runs as a 3rd party candidate, directly against Rudy and Hillary? Will he take more votes away from Hillary, or Rudy, or will it be a close number of votes taken away from both? What if he comes in second place in the national election, and a third party becomes very strong in this country? Will it force change in the other two parties, then trickle away?

I wonder if there is a bug in their software? I have it up the last hour or so, and hes got about $500,000 in donations. Is that normal for a politician to get so much in an hour?

(I'm ignorant to donations as I never see meters and graphs before)

I did see a company donate on his page rather than names, so maybe its not all phony with a random name generator.

Possibly a bug. They are raking in about $200,000 per hour now though. At this rate they'll blow past $2,000,000.00 in just a few hours.

Is www.ronpaulgraphs.com his official site?

No, but the info they pull is from his website. The last quarter's filings matched this website as well. So, no, it's not a "bot site"

Wow, you Ron Paul freaks are annoying.

So are trolls.

Yes, you are. Keep all of your ridiculous Ron Paul BS to one thread. Do you realize that you are probably turning more people away from Ron Paul than you are gaining more supporters with your Ron Paul spamming?

Reminds me so much of the Lydon Larouche supporters in how fanatical they are. Now I'm not saying Ron Paul is that bad, but the supporters seem to be the same.

If you don't like these Ron Paul threads, you are free to not participate in them. If you don't like the RP supports on this board, you know who they are - don't click on their threads. The solution is simple. All of the complaining about RP in his threads do nothing but bump these threads to the top.

I'm sure you would have hated the movement that swept JFK into office. It was very similar in both passion and momentum.

No kidding. See Ron Paul in the thread title, move along. How hard is this?

No, that's impossible. If RP is in the thread title, it's my moral obligation to enter that thread and spread as much FUD as possible. If I create enough straw men and repeat over and over again that a vote for RP is a wasted vote then maybe all these wackos will quit wanting a change and will donate their hard earned money to the corporate establishment instead of this whack job running around talking about that stupid Constitution thingy. This wacky RP guy has raised 1.6 million dollars in 12 1/2 hours, I better post more about how crappy he is. My message is getting lost in translation somewhere obviously.

I just donated my $25. First time ever I paid a cent to any political person. Might be the last (unless I feel generous to RP again.)

Ok... I just tore RP's website apart looking for fundraising totals. All I saw was the animation on the home page of a $4 million+ total that kept rolling up. I didn't see anything referencing totals for the last 24 hours or any other notation of fundraising totals. Maybe you could provide a link?

Republican fluffer? I voted for ONE Republican last election (Govenor) and I will most likely be voting for only one this election. Just because I'm not part of the local BDS crew doesn't make me a Republican fluffer. I actually like a lot of what Ron Paul says, but some of his stuff is outright wacky. My point is, these Ron Paul freaks are doing a disservice to his campain and probably turning off a lot of would be Ron Paul voters.

I've been in a "rain on your parade" mode today, but I'm calling them like I see them.

Please support your candidate, but realize that there is no way that either party wants Paul. He doesn't conform to their mold, and they will crush him before he's allowed to be taken seriously by the American public.
