In the process of trying to get my horror drama funded and threw together a trailer. Check out this draft, comments please.. Though I don't expect you guys to be kind Sound is temporary and rough and cut is not final, I'm about 70% there.

Since this cost about $500 on screen please compare it to Clerks ($35,000 budget) not Star Wars:

Nice, congrats man. Really liked the final shot when the title card comes up. Also, it's hard to go wrong with a girl in a white tank top. I saw you noted the narration was pending; it did sound a bit out of place, but I was trying not to focus too much on the sound since you mentioned it was temporary.

Good luck and make sure to post more trailers/clips/whatever as you move forward!

Thank you, appreciate your thoughts! Yes, the narration's done by an amateur (ha, me) until the dialogue is final, then our lead vampire will record it on something other than my iphone.

Yes, white tank tops sell trailers Not to minimize any of my wonderful cast, the actress is incredibly talented and a force (she's on CBS' Limitless right now, I"m blessed that she worked for meals and credit, because there's no way I can afford a talent of her caliber)

Thank you! Yes, the only way I was able to man up and start this was admitting that getting paid is less than likely, but I still have to try and gotta do it for the love of storytelling I guess!

Thank you! A $400 canon t4i - not to brag but we out shot some local peers using $6,000 red scarlets.. It's not the camera, it's how you use it Both of our cinematographers were amazing and pushed our modest gear to the max. Actually, it's more lighting than anything - the vast majority of our budget went toward light rentals, the scene with the vampire tied up required 1000 watt lights that gave our actors tans.

Our lenses were hella expensive prime lenses, but the rental house rented them out for a pittance

Thank you! The slow reveal was on purpose - to build the mystery of "what is this about?" a bit. Anyone else think the reveal should be earlier?
