Dumb redneck had to kill it. Would of been alot smarter to tranq the thing and use him for shows.
Jamison is reveling in the attention over his pig, which has a Web site put up by his father?http://www.monsterpig.com ?that is generating Internet buzz.

You guys questioning the picture are making some silly accusations. If you've ever been next to a bull or cow or horse you will understand how large animals can be.
As for the picture there is no way he is 20 feet behind the hog. If you look at the background in relation with the tree it all seems to jive.
Remember 9 feet is quite a bit though it may not look like a lot if you just have a measuring tape, but when it's in relation to something material, it will seem much larger. Take for example 9' ceilings in many newer houses, they look much taller than they actually are. Or bridge underpasses that are only 12', but they look like 20' when you stand there. The picture may make it look a bit larger, but I don't think it's doctored at all. It's just a huge ****** hog!

haha the pig is big...but not THAT big. If he were to go crazy during a show all it would take is a high powered tranq to knock him out. That kid could have made some good money....ohwell.

I think the angle makes it looks a hell of alot bigger than it is, plus the kid is standing about 20 feet behind it. also 11 years old and shooting a .50 caliber, doesn't look to be black powder or a desert eagle, must be that s&w 500?

The picture looks photoshopped to make the boy look smaller.
This picture looks different:
