Saw the original video embedded as an ad on a DailyTech article a bit earlier (Anandtech's tech newswire service).

Edit: Second part finally answers why she butted in on the first, but doesn't seem to realize that the iPhone 4S has HSPA+, which is what T-Mobile calls "4G" in the video. Because they said it doesn't have "T-Mobile 4G," they are technically correct, but they are 100% incorrect saying that "T-Mobile 4G" is faster than AT&T's own HSPA+ 4G (same tech, better/faster backhaul on AT&T)

Fixed that for you.

Nice. Now do some movies man. You seem to come off as a likeable guy and I could def see you doing some kind of supporting role in a movie.

What a waste of as commercial shot when AT&T and T mobile were about to commit matrimony.

But now the wedding off, leaving T mobile with maybe the best smart phone but without a 4G network to support it.

But snorkle giggle, I am a sentimental 90's kind of a guy, why make me cry at a happy ending?

Hmm. They deleted my comment.

It wouldn't be saturated at all if they throttled after 200MB like T-Mobile. I get a lot more than 200MB of T-Mobile-shaming speeds each month.

Uhhhh... for what you pay with AT&T for 2gb you usually get between 2gb and 5gb on T-Mo dude.

AT&T... Less bars in more places.

It wasn't so bad

Did you practice 'looking at her larger screen' when not in costume?

Any more commercials on the horizon?

(Edit - As a side question do you have to sign anything saying you won't do commercials for the competition?)

I can only hope there are Nothing to speak of yet, though.

As far as other auditions go, the producers of whatever commercial you're a part of can 'hold' you after the initial cycle of the spot (13 weeks). That means every 13 weeks, they must pay you a holding fee, for up to 21 months. During that time, you're not allowed to participate in commercials in the same category. The categories can get muddled sometimes (quick service restaurant, fast food, dining etc..) but mobile phones are pretty straightforward.

Don't pretend to be ignorant of the extreme throttling T-Mobile applies after 200MB. FWIW, I am grandfathered in on AT&T's unlimited plan, but at least I'd have the option of paying for full-speed 4G beyond the first 200MB. T-Mobile's great, but to say that their HSPA+ is somehow better and faster than AT&T's HSPA+ on the iPhone 4S just because Apple refuses to let AT&T call it "4G" is much more than simply misleading.

what are you talking about? tmobile has 3 different limits. 200mb, 2gb, and 5gb of "4g" data. no overage charges either, only throttling after your chosen limit.

roflol... wtf? Even on PREPAID T-Mobile has both a 2gb and a 5gb "cap" level before they throttle. Yeah, they do have a 200mb cap level too for those that want to save a few bucks that don't use much data. T-Mobile doesn't throttle HSPA+ until said caps are reached for their respective plans.

In addition, most speed test results I've had the pleasure of doing put's T-Mo's HSPA+ significantly faster than AT&T's HSPA+.

I was comparing apples to apples, "Unlimited" to "Unlimited." Neither AT&T nor T-Mobile offer the unlimited plan anymore. AT&T's "unlimited" $30 plan had a secret 5GB cap that simply triggered a nasty letter about impacting other users if you exceeded it and threatened to cancel your agreement if you did it regularly but now they assume you are tethering and try to force you onto a tethering plan automatically if you don't respond. T-Mobile's "unlimited" $10 plan has a 200MB cap that severely throttles you. Neither are currently offered but there are many people grandfathered in. "Suckered" is probably the right way to put it.

FWIW I thought you did a damn good job. Played the part well and it is comical because I have an iPhone 4s. I used to have the Motorola Atrix. I still see better quality photos from the 4s than any other smartphone out there. Yes the Galaxy Nexus has a higher clocked cpu but the gpu in the 4s still smokes it. Don't get me wrong, I think they've made huge strides with the Tegra3 but it isn't in a smartphone yet.

But back to on the true topic here. Congrats man. You did a great job.
