Check out this video that i took while on Thalys (High Speed Train) from Paris to Brussels today...

That train was freakin amazing!!! Here's a Picture I took of Thayls

Top speed is about 300km/h (198mph) but the average speed is 148mph...

Went from Paris Nord to Brussels Midi in about an hour... See the train we pass towards the end of the video? Hes going the same direction we are

Too bad they dont have these here inthe US and CA. I think it could work as a high speed link between some cities...

I agree, the trains over here ROCK! Pretty darn reasonably priced if ya ask me too...

reminds me of the shinkansen that i used to ride when i lived in japan... its so wonderful cause you dont have to worry about traffic or driving or anything.. and you can basically go across the whole country on them...
