Cheiftec Case Fan Placement

Sorry guys, I know that this topic probably has been asked to death, I have read all of the posts and I want to make sure I got it right..

My Setup:
Cheiftech case 4 case fans

1- Currently mounted infront of HDD bay (front) blowing in
1- Currently mounted in front case fan spot blowing in
2- Mounted in rear, above pci slots, blowing in.

That means the only fans blowing out are the 2 in the powersupply.. Is that ok?

Most people have the rear fans blowing out. With fan cages, they're easy enough to flip around. Just try it all ways and find the way that works best for you.

That is what sounds right to me, is rear blowing out.. But everyone on here it seems says have them blow in..

Oh well, I guess your right, I will just try both and see what works the best.. Thnx for your reply

The front ones blowing in, the back ones blowing out... creates a cross current, i don't know why you'd have the back ones blowing in.

Many people may have fans near the back of their case SIDE's blowing in, but most people have all fans on the rear of the case blowing out.

If you Have your Power Supply blowing right out the back, and the fan below it is sucking in, you tend to get "pre-heated" air, which is not at all what you want. I'd try to keep all the fans on a single face of the case blowing in the same direction, unless maybe if they're at extreme opposite ends of that face.

Was that confusing enough?

I'm not sure I have seen anyone say they have the rear fans blowing in. I've always had mine blow out. Just look for the arrows on the side of the fan housing to figure out air flow.

yes, definitley have the back fans blowing OUT.

Thanks everyone.. I thought that was the case, but I read a few threads here that I thought they were saying the opposite.. Good to know..
