Watched part of the documentary and thought it was pretty intersting. Not exactly pointing out much new for anyone who's paying attention, but I guess that's the point. The mandatory, unavoidable first step to minorities truly being equal is to recognize and directly address systemic racism. I just got an above average raise. Don't worry about me and work. I tell it like it is, others here build false realities to protect their views. It was made quite clear to me exactly what happened by the hiring manager and others n the know around the office. I'm sorry but isn't that what some liberals are implying? Why do black students need a majority white-Asian school? This is the concern of Blasio and others. Why isn't something like 10-20% white, 5-10% Asian, 20%-30% Hispanic enough? To add insult to injury, Hispanics are lumped with blacks as not being a favorable group to pair with.

How is the situation in NY with the schools trying to address that? They're trying to bring down whites and Asians, so they can pat themselves on the back if the gap narrows. How you say? Well, why else would you get rid of gifted programs if Democrats think this is giving whites and Asians an advantage? If they think the gifted programs work, it's really simple to just ADD accelerated tracks in poorer school districts. New York City spends about ~18K per student, so there's really no excuse for just regular and special needs classes. Instead of doing the obvious, they're going to piss off parents with more forced integration and think we're stupid enough to think it's so much better for POC.

That isn't at all what I'm saying you simpleton. I believe race doesn't make one better or worse, not should it make one a victim in today's America. The only people it does make a victim of are those that buy into modern liberalism where they are conditioned to be just that. Some of the bravest people in America today are black conservatives. One thing they have in common is that they aren't victims and they don't make excuses why they can't. Something liberals can never understand.

From my understanding your claim is:
1) at one point the reason for inequality was racism.
2) that racism no longer exists, meaning it no longer causes inequality.
3) inequality is now caused by 'liberal victim culture'.

So, there must have been a changeover at some point and I'm simply marveling at how seamless it was if I'm to take your theory at face value. This would be a coincidence of almost comical proportions and so I just want to confirm your view that's what happened and I'm interested to hear your thoughts about that changeover and how it happened.
