Just seems odd that a person would go on an European vacation and continue to post in forum daily (throughout the day no less). Maybe he should get Capt Obvious to help him plan out his next vacation.

I went fishing in canada for two weeks and posted. But I was sick a few days. We all know moonie is sick.

I was not comparing Bosnia and the Islamists, just making use of it as an example albeit rather poorly.

And I agree Bush messed up in Iraq as Obama has in Libya, Syria and appears to now be doing in Iraq.

We can never succeed unless we act like those ruthless dictators did. Our ROE won't allow it. So doing something in iraq is just throwing money and lives away.

Cheney's denial & blame shifting are shameful. This thread shows he's not alone in that, either. Some of y'all seem to think that Obama invaded Iraq & fucked up the occupation, given the way you're putting the blame on him.

Obama's part is that he followed through on the air tight agreement GWB signed in 2008. Iraq became a sovereign nation again in Dec 2011 when American troops left on schedule as stipulated in that agreement. The notion that we should go back now after the total cock-up of invading in the first place is absurd. We never belonged there.

It's true- we broke it, under some of the flimsiest justifications for pre-emptive war ever dreamed up. The silly idea that we can now fix it is just more of the same arrogance we followed when we broke it.

Meh we could fix by being just. In other words actually rebuild the place. Pay off families of everyone who died as islamic law allows for. Have real power and income sharing, But it would cost more than we want to pay.

Other alternative is glass it.

Pulling out totally I feel will be WW3 eventually. These fundis are not stopping till saudi and all the other kuffer regimes are gone. They will control whole ME. God bless GWB.

Gawd. That's the same arrogance & denial I was talking about.

The Saudis? Are you out of your mind? They rule by Divine Right under Sharia Law using Wahhabis as religious police. They'll cut your fucking head off for denouncing God. They are what the radicals want the rest of the ME to become- they're the source of inspiration & funding, too.

You're smarter than that. Wake the fuck up.

Your dead wrong. The jihadis hate them and consider them infidels. They pay them so country doesnt revolt. Contemporary wabbism is practiced in Saudi which is to say not muslim enough and royal family is considered not muslim at all and in west service.

"Bin Laden wanted to overthrow the Saudi monarchy (and now other Middle East governments)[15] and establish an "Islamic Republic" according to Shari'a law (Islamic Holy Law), to "unite all Muslims and to establish a government which follows the rule of the Caliphs."[16]"

I have a hard time understanding where obamas foreign policy has been such a failure. We are pulling out of Afghanistan. No boots in libya, egypt, Syria, Iraq or the ukraine. I call that success.

Well, yeh, but the same qualities & actions that would be admired in another president are reviled in Obama. Whatever he does is dead wrong, because he's doing it.

You're really misinformed read the rand report or tranlated terrorist writings at places like SITE Institute.

Gawd. Why then are there no alQ affiliates of note in KSA & the persian gulf states? No terrorist activity? Because they finance Jihad, direct it outward, encourage their own radicals to fight Jihad against somebody else.

15 of 19 9/11 attackers were Saudis. Of an identified 124 suicide bombers in Iraq, 53 were Saudis. Virtually all of the radical Jihadi Madrassas in Pakistan are Saudi financed.

The Wahhabis of the KSA are the fountainhead of ideology & funding for Islamic radicals around the world. We're pissing into the wind until we acknowledge that & deal with it.

Obama fucked up Libya good. Over throw a secular leader and it's a jihadi playground where tens of thousands died since. Has no stable govt roving bands and sharia law. Many weapons are in ISIS hands now.

Obama and the neo cons fucked up Syira too supporting "moderate" jihadis with weapons and training but funny enough ISIS who's raping Iraq has US made weapons and vehicles. Guess they "fell into wrong hands" ....

Look Iraq was destined to bust apart from day we invaded in 2003 no matter how much they want to blame Obama or the latest, malkiki fault - a political settlement of Iraq’s ongoing civil war has been out of reach since day one no matter who is in charge. All three parties want to be apart. Nothing you can do about that. Kurds have rich oil feilds they dont want to share. Shi'a has same. Sunni are kinda fucked and oiless over their domain so will fight for control of some. Thats whats going on with Iraq.

KSA funds them through the Ulema so their people dont overthrow and kill them. Like us paying off the so-called "awkening councils" in iraq. It's hard to over throw anyway with 30K corrupt royals in ever facet of govt and saudi is a complete police state. To even talk bad about regime is beatings or death. The Ulema and al Saud have a unholy alliance. You keep funding our fundi mosques, madrassas and terrorists around the world or else. Problem is or else is coming to KSAs doorstep. Massive unemployement inside the Kingdom, a regime thats seen as infidels by the radicals like ISIS, and these groups are growing.

Saudi has had plenty of terror activity...way more than Saddam did.. Starting with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Mosque_Seizure

Again they keep a lid on terror inside the kingdom comparatively due to extraordinary wealth, the Ulema unholy alliance agreeing to fund Wahhabi/jihad worldwide, and hard core police state.

But make no mistake the jihadi soldiers and generals are vying for that unislamic state and their decadent self serving royals.
