Both times I ordered these cases they shipped in 2 or 3 days.

Anyone remember when someone was making custom fascias for these cases. A few years ago, big deal at AVSforum. Made for a nice looking home theater box.
I remember the biggest problem then was locating the case to go with the fascia. There were discussions about group buys to get a cargo ship shipping container's worth. And now their $20.

You can use these on their side if you put them somewhere where you cannot see the bottom.

Just put the 4 included rubber feet on the side/botton. Face it so you cannot see the true bottom. (Powersupply on top of course) By doing this you will almost have a "ATX design" case. Better airflow/heat removal. Most CD-roms function with the CD on its side so there are not many other issues other than Asthetics.

I have 5 of theses and they are really good quality.

Just got email that it shipped via FedEx ground. FedEx site says it will be delivered on the 27th (ordered on the 18th). Not NewEgg, but not bad. Interesting thing, my order history shows the shipping method to be UPS.

I just got 2 of these cases a week ago. The case is more grey than black, but fits my needs as an htpc. I was concerned that it might be to crammed inside the case, but found that it wasn't bad. I put in a different PSU because I wasn't to sure how far I trusted the 250w psu that came witht the case. I think that it took them 1 1/2 weeks to get it shipped out so that wasn't superb but it was free shipping so I didn't complain.

I missed the shipping deal AGAIN! Damn... I'm favoriting this thread so I can order next time around. I really need a HTPC case as my current "atx on it's side with no sides on and the cabinet doors open because there is no venilation" is really not so good!

Anybody think of painting this case? Seems like flat black would work well, as long as it would stick.

uhm, just to let you know, this case has no exhaust fans, you may be better off w/ your atx unless you feel like modding

Mine arrived today. Nice case. 8 days from order to receipt. Not too bad overall but they did charge my credit card 5 days before they shipped.

Yeah, I realize there are down sides but my current case is not working out either so I'd rather try this and see if I can mod it to good enough. If not, I can use these for frontend systems (running old Celerons).
