HTF can finish have anything to do with squeaks and rattles? It doesn't. As for fit, it has actually has little to do with rattles either. The #1 reason for interior rattles is due to the cantilever nature of dash designs and the support system for them. Complexity (ie. #of parts) is a another high contributor to rattles. Thus, we see more modularized designs with fewer parts. Door latching/locking connector rods (inside the doors), various mtg. clips, window regulators, G/R channels, etc., these are some of the top remaining "offenders" when it comes to squeaks and rattles.
