Chiboy: does Daewoo make good products?

seeing as you owned one of their cars, I think you'd know the best

I'm thinking of buying a 20" flat TV for my room. And I was looking at the Daewoo because it's a pretty nice price. $130, not bad.

So Chiboy, Daewoo any good?

I once had a second-hand Daewoo microwave. I had to set the timer, turn it on, and run out of the room as quick as I could to avoid getting any extra radiation from that piece of crap. There were so many microwaves leaking from it that it took 12 minutes to pop half of a bag of popcorn....the other half was just kernels...

I have had a Apex Dvd player for 2yrs that plays everything & it still works great.

I don't recommand Daewoo at all because Daewoo no longer exists.
It's even weird that there're still Daewoo products being sold.(Daewoo went bankrupt about 7 years ago)
The quality of Daewoo shouldn't be that bad as they used to compete with Samsung and Hyundai. But, I don't think that Daewoo TV is really the Daewoo TV I know of.

I paid $2,000 for it & sold it for $2.500.

Edit: I drove it for like 7 months.

One thing I just noticed is that I've never seen a Daewoo electronic products.
I mean...I came from Korea but never seen a single Daewoo electronic products.
I just know they did make 'em and that's pretty about much it.
I always saw Samsung, LG, Hyundai electronic stuffs but not a single Daewoo one.
But then again, if you're okay with stuff like apex and some other funky brand named products, Daewoo should be okay.

i've tried a Daewoo car, currently have a Daewoo microwave, and my friend has a Daewoo TV that works just fine

Got a region/code free Daewoo DVD player. It works. And on the top, imprinted in the metal in big letters, it says," D I G I T A L".

 

buddy of mine bought a daewoo TV last year, it lasted less than 3 months
