Guy is a franchise killer


Heres hoping the Texans or SF or the Rams take him off the bears hands. I bet the bears end up eating a portion of the contract if a trade happens.


If you watch the bears games you can actually see how hes killed the team. If you watch his mechanics he hasnt sold a play action pass this year after doing well in play action. If you watch his five step drop and seven step drop he started using that hitch again he developed in College that hes been trying to get rid of for years. Its like he said fuck it this year and started all those bad habbits again.

Guy isnt the worst QB in the legue by any stretch but his attitude and how he goes about his business is a team killer.

If you look at the offensive line about 1/3 of the sacks this year have been from him holding he ball too long or not stepping up and generally not working the system.


Ive been hoping he would get hurt all year ><


Bears need to trade him and marshall this offseason as a package. Opens up enough to go after Suh and Devin Mcourdy and possibly Kenny Britt or the speedster from the ravens this offseason.

I really hope this saves trestman because the NFL needs good men to succeed. Imagine if the bears didnt sign Cutler and went after Ihedigbo at safety and revis with that money this offseason.


Lets not forget the real reason the bears are bad though. Defense. This offense no matter how offensive would still have won a bunch of games with Lovies old defense.

As a Packer fan, I'd like for the Bears to keep both Jay Cutler and Marc Trestman. I think they should keep their o-line as is as well.

No I'm serious ... I vividly recall having an argument with a friend about Cutler vs Matt Ryan's QB ability. IMO Cutler is a perfect example of a million dollar arm with a two dollar head.

Friend thought hands-down Cutler was better btw.

I could see the Titans going for him if enough of the local staff pushed for it. With Whiz still being new to the area and the Tommy Smith still being based in Houston, I don't see them going after a veteran like Cutler specifically for his Vanderbilt history.

The Titans should definitely trade those picks for some veterans. It's just a question on who they need the most. The draft is so unpredictable, you're better off by looking for some 3-4+ year vets with starter playing experience.... Kind of like what the Patriots tend to do.

Kenny Britt wasn't producing at Tennessee due to injury and was trouble off the field. (a lot of that was age). He's a 700 yard season WR...which isn't bad if he can stay out of trouble and keep from dropping the important passes.

Britts looked better and hasnt given up on routes this year I thought? Would Torry Smith be a better choice? Bears need a burner to open up the zone coverage they have been getting killed with this year.
