Now the Bears fans understand why Denver was happy to unload him

The entire team sucks. But I'm sure it's all Jay Cutlers mopey look that is the problem... Tom Brady is also a huge douche yet he seems to still win...

He may be better now. I just remember him being more exciting to follow off the field than on when he was a Titan.
What bothered me was his lack of concentration after returning from his knee injury. He missed his routes and didn't complete the catch before trying to run. You never know if a total miss the QB or the receiver though. I just remember seeing at least 2 passes where the throw was inside and he broke outside on a comeback. That kind of thing will kill your 3rd down percentage.

Sometimes the threat of having a big wide receiver is good enough. They have to cover the tall guys with safeties over the top which allows underneath passes to gain more yardage and they have a huge advantage on crossing routes in zone coverage against LBs. Britt is also an ok run blocker.

It's clearly Cutler's dress attire off the field during morning talk shows that's the issue.

I've been a Cutler apologist for the last few years, but have finally given up on him. I still don't think we have a lot of better options available - the problem now is the ridiculous contract we gave him. If he weren't paid so much I could handle his mediocrity, because he's still probably a top 15 QB in the NFL, and as much as all us Bears fans would like our own Rodgers/Brady/Manning/Luck... those guys don't exactly grow on trees.

I honestly think a lot of the frustration of 100+ years of a losing Cubs team has spread so Solider Field. There's just not a lot of patience left in the fan base. Thing is, fans are going to have to calm down, because there's no way you win with this team, and there's nothing you can do in the next year or two to become a Super Bowl contender either. Gotta rebuild, like the Cubs, and start looking at 2018 or so.

That just means the Cubs will finish next to last instead of dead last in their division.

Sadly, as a Brewer fan, I think the Cubs have a real chance at the division. It will (should) be between them and the Cardinals.

Brewers were a 1 hit wonder this season (and only for half a season at that). Cubs have REALLY put together a nice team this off-season. Though it relies heavily on that young talent coming through and staying hot (please see Jean Segura as a point of failure here).

Brewers have some spunk, i bet their competitive this year.

Now in regards to Cutler one discint possibility is that the bears ALREADY have a trade partner in informal talks trough the agents. I could see the bears leaving him out to protect the trade value hello Carson Palmer. If the bears already have a trade partner the risk of injury superseeds any question of why hes not playing.

If he was gonna be here next year I could see them still benching him this year however if they plan on firing ALL the staff.

My dark horse hope dream aspiration is that Mike Holmgren comes in as director of football operation replacing Ted Phillips who stays as the bean counter. I could see Holmgren keeping trestman with new DC and a few position coaches on a 1 year basis since trestman is due another 6 or 7 million guaranteed and the bears were still paying Lovie Smiths salary this year because of guaranteed money.

Harbaugh trade for Cutler seems intrigueing though I dont see the Mckaskeys paying anyone 8 million a year. I really dont. Especially the guy who threw more pick sixes to lose games than anyone who has ever lived.

if a trade happens and the bears end up getting a number 1 for Him then Phil is gonna save face big time. If bears get a booty for Cutlet than not putting the franchise on him and signing him was actually a smart play that gave them value with an out.

Mad mad world...

Titans are rumored to be working on a trade and the sitting of Cutler is to ensure no injury happens. Unamed source but still. New it

Eric Ferguson is the source for this? Haven't heard him on the radio in a good 15 years. Can't imagine the jabber show in the morning has changed much. Expected a source a bit closer to sports to be the one to get the scoop.

Fingers crossed it is true.

I don't think the titans are stupid enough like the redskins to give up a#1 for cutler. If the titans beat the bucs for the #1 draft pick, they are going to select marroitta qb from Oregon in 2015.
