How about regular Magnolia? It was so god damn boring that I literally cannot stay awake while watching it. I've tried 3 times and I've fallen asleep every time.

true, but in Titanic the entire film is not predicated on the fact that the two main characters end up as a couple, in the Notebook it is, whether at first you know it or not.
