Well, its big. and its heavy. and its well made. The drive bays are well thought out and easy to use and the fan holders are clever. The side door is a nice idea, and works well. The side door and front door locks are also a good idea, although you could probably pick them with a paperclip if you really wanted to. The front door doesn't feel too sturdy, but seems to do the job. Its big and really heavy.

Oh, and its not black. More a sort of speckeldy charcoal grey colour - I'm not sure how good standard black componants, like cdr drives would look in it. I was a bit disapointed by that. Other negative points; the one i bought had no front USB and no side/top blowholes, although i've read that some places sell them with both. Oh, and it doesn't have a removable motherboard tray.

Basically its well built, and its got a lot of room inside. You should be able to get pretty good airflow inside it. For me it was a case of insides = great, outsides = not so great.

I bought one, but overall it wasnt for me, and I upgraded to a lian li pc-60. Now that is a case I like.

So, if you like its looks, you want lots of space inside, and you arent bothered that its big and heavy (have I stressed this enough? ) then this is probably the case for you!

Oh, and ness1469, didja get out of the wrong side of bed this morning? This is Cases & cooling, you know...

EDIT... Interesting. The review you posted, Cobraxt, stated that the case is aluminium, but mine was definately steel. Must be two versions.

There are both steel and aluminum versions of this case.

I think maybe ness1469 was really trying to say "Please use the search button, this has been discussed several times"

Yeah, he's made at least 5 posts about this and the lanboy in the past day or so and been posting in the wrong forums.

Dobby: If you don't get a response in an hour, there is no need to make another post. Most posts usually have a reply in a day or so. If you want to say something else, it's wise to post it in your old post because when you make a large number of posts, it moves other people's threads towards the bottom and wastes bandwidth and space on the server. Not only that, it tends to annoy people when they see many threads from the same person on the same subject. Finally, there are many sites out there that do reviews of cases. Maybe you could try finding some of these reviews and presenting what you do know about the case to spark some discussion. As in, maybe if someone noticed a problem, someone here might think that the reviewer was just over-reacting, etc.

This is information that is a common practice in forums everywhere. It helps people find the information they want and need faster and removes clutter and useless crap.

Thanks!

what is that supposed to mean?

If you talking about the fact that I noticed all those posts... it only took a few minutes for me to have read through them...

if you are talking about my speech on forum courtesy, then maybe it would benefit you to know that first off, the internet and forums have been around for quite some time, and learning how things work doesn't take long... or you could also realize that this holds true in REAL LIFE... if someone was standing next to you asking you about something LOTS AND LOTS OF TIMES wouldn't you get a little annoyed?

I think some companies paint the case so that it's jet black, but it comes in a charcoal grey colour. Kinda like the IBM monitors and computers.

Tiger direct has some of the newer cheiftec cases such as the 2-tone Matrix series. Shipping is pricey though.
