doh! that was what happened, I remember looking at that and didn't put 2 and 2 together. Question though, did it being at 230v and my hooking up and trying it in some way damage the powersupply? I'm figureing no, because it is looking for more volts and getting less, but I need to know for sure.

zervun: I'm running the PS right now after having tried for many hours yesterday to get it to run at 230v input. Funny thing is even with the 230v selector I was getting 12 volts and 5 volts out of the 4 pin connectors and my Hard Drives and cdrom drives were all powered up as were all auxillary fans running off the mb headers. Thats what really fooled me

I'm no expert but I think there wasn't enough power being produced in the 3.3 volt outputs. I reason this by the fact that the CPU remained Ice cold to the touch even when power up for 10 minutes with no cpu fan running (thought I blew the processor). (Note: its Athlon 1.33 heat generator)

I think you'll be just fine, nothing was damaged IMHO.

I purchased three of these cases and all of them were set to 230v. I actually made the mistake of running a couple of them at 230v, but it didn't break anything. A simple flip of a switch and they worked perfectly.

On another note, has anyone determined what the small metal donut is yet? For a moment I thought it was a magnet, but then I realized that would be a bad idea! :Q

SILVER DONUT = EMI CHOKE !!!! It's a choke that you loop your front switch cables through twice to cut out any interference they might pick up.

Nice case but not as solid as I'd hoped it'd be.

Sounds great thanks for the help, btw the hinge comment, I meant the side panel, wish it was hinged not talkin about the front.

Yes the metal donut is a EMI thingy I have it on 2 cases.

Anyone have a picture of this EMI Donut in action? Just want to make sure that I use it correctly.
