chieftec stock fan vs panaflo L1As

I was thinking of replacing all my case fans as my two Sunons are making a loud racket :frown:

Should I replace all the 4 fans with the panaflo or just replace the sunons? I mean, how much better is the panaflo compared to the stock fan in terms of CFMs and decibels?

Any suggestions?

You are probably going to be okay to replace if you have 4 fans.
One way to lower noise without sacrificing performance is cutting out the fan plate and replace it with a fan grill. Most of fan noise is actually from the air hitting the plate on your case. Grills are more aerodynamic and therefore lower noise.

I don't wanna do any 7v cos I think that gives me too low a CFM on the sunons.

OK...now on whether to get a Panaflo L1As or Vantec stealths? I am thinking of changing all four fans and hopefull that won't make too much noise.

L1A Panaflos are noticeably quieter than Vantec Stealths. Go with the L1As.

Unless there's a mountain of hot running stuff in there, using 2 L1a's as exhausts is more than sufficient. If you want a 4 fan configuration, then the ultra quiet nmb's from svc will do just fine.
