Just corroborating the stories on the psu's. THey are not the same whatsoever. My turbolink version tried burning up my system after 4 months or so. It started rebooting at random and when I took out the motherboard connector there were 4 burned sockets. Luckily my components were fine and the only thing that fried was the power supply. It was "working" great up until that point so YMMV with those. I for one am not taking any more chances. True power for me from now on.

I added the case, some $.01 rounded cables and 2 Smart Fans. My order came out like this:

Total Purchases 45.01
Shipping 37.50

It does NOT cost $37.50 to ship a case..

This reseller makes their living on shipping charges! No thank! I would rather pay a higher price with an honest shipping charge. At least when I need to return stuff, I get most of my money back.

That was the other problem with the turbolink. It was the loudest damned psu I have ever heard. Maybe they have improved the quality of it.

Maybe they just switched fan suppliers... mine had two clear sleeve-bearing fans... I don't recall the branding but the one on the exhaust siezed, bad enough that even a couple drops of oil couldn't free it.

I had the same exact fans.

Yes, Xinrulian, that's the brand. I vaguely remember that the two were different amperage, speed. One maybe .17A and the other .30A, or not, it's been a while.

I have this same power supply. Worked fine for a few months, voltage rails were pretty good, fans pretty quiet, etc. Then I got a 2500+. Then I turned up the voltage to 1.8V. Now there's little burn marks around the diode bridges, and the 5V line is shorted. Without an ammeter, I'd have to guess, but with as little as I have in my system, the load could not have over 250W. You would be making a mistake to use this PSU in anyone else's system - and if it's your system, keep a backup PSU around. Simply not worth it. I had to pay $60 for a Thermaltake PSU because it was the only thing in town at 5PM on a Sunday. I'm much impressed with it, but if I'm paying $60, I want an Antec.
