I guess FRC is a "hate group" for oppressing unmarried heterosexuals by discouraging them from raising families out of wedlock. CFA supports that, so "Dey hate dem der straights!"

FRC being labeled a "hate group" was way out of line from the start and then blindly using that to condemn CFA is irresponsible, ignorant, and intolerant of Christian beliefs. People who spread that bigotry are the true hate-mongers.

This concept will bomb just like all other non-Chick-fil-a restaurants. I've been to Truett's Grill. It sucks. It's basically Chick-fil-sit down restaurant with required tip. Pointless.

Chick-fil-a Dwarf House is alive and well. The one here is basically a normal CFA with a drive through but when you go in they have a fast food counter AND a service area with waited tables. They serve a very different menu including burgers (contradicts their ads).

As an aside, it's really disappointing how so many people have decided to take the low road when it comes to social activism. FRC has a large body of work; their allegiances are well known. Surely you could find any number of ways to make them look foolish, but you choose to take a dishonest route. Surely you'd be better off convincing people that homosexuals are just people who prefer different sexual organs, like a hetero male might prefer blondes over brunettes, instead of accusing random think tanks that 95% of people have never heard of of promoting gay pogroms. I suppose for some people, though, the goal isn't to change anyone's mind, but to feel self-righteous.

I have a friend who is a transgendered combat veteran. They promote their views when appropriate, but I don't think I've ever heard them say the word bigot or intolerant or ignorant or hate in a real conversation. They just try to get others to understand where they are coming from as a living, breathing person, and it seems a hell of a lot more effective at changing minds than what you're doing. Especially in my area, where there are almost as many churches as bars or clubs. It's sort of funny, in a way, seeing good ol' boys' response to what they say if the discussion ever gets serious. They're confused at first, then they realize they're talking to just another person, not some lovely human who had their dick cut off, some freak show on cable news. That's how you reduce "hatred" and "intolerance," not by accusing anyone you disagree with of "indirectly" supporting the most heinous acts imaginable.

Really? I don't mean to bash your tastes, as everyone has their own preferences, but I've never understood how people enjoy Cracker Barrel. I've had several things on their menu (I've been there about a dozen times split between breakfast and dinner and have gotten different things each time) and I don't find any of the meals to be very appealing. I think the pancakes in the OP look just fine, but man I just can't accept favoring Cracker Barrel pancakes over those based on the picture.

I think it depends on how much butter they use on the griddle. If the pancakes have a lot of "crispys", they are fairly addicting

Otherwise, I kinda get what you are saying. They seem to actor to the travel crowd, and its a better choice than a MCD's.
