That can be true, but I bet it's the minority. Take a look at women like this and you'll see a pattern of abuse that starts at a very young age, probably with her father and continues with boyfriend after boyfriend.

You know...i was just watching someone quite close to me in this situation. she was dating someone that was beating her before and then started dating someone else who did the same thing. I hate it when people cry victim. So many times do you hear women saying "....but i love him" and "....he will stop eventually". They CHOOSE to stay in the relationship for whatever reason. Even if they were decieved early on, they have a choice to leave.

Can someone show me where in the article it says that the boyfriend beat her to death? It may very well have been the mother. You guys jump to conclusions WAY too fast.

Anyway, even if it was the boyfriend who did it, I think the mother shares equal responsibility for it. She's the whore is inviting murderous men into the child's house so she can sleep with them.

I know a girl (middle child) whose older brother attacked his mom with a knife , the youngest of the three children jumped in the way and ended up getting stabbed instead. She died in the hospital that night. The daughter that I know was so heartbroken, obviously. The brother in jail, the sister killed, and her living with a drunken, abusive father and a passive mother who doesn't defend her children to the father.

Sometimes life is a bitch.

I hope the family in the story above will be okay.

Right, the article says no where that the boyfriend did it. It also says the previous complaints were of family members(aka the mother) beating the child. It might have been the boyfriend hit the mom, little girl stepped in, but mom, being angry and probably smaller than the boyfriend went off on the kid.

And for the crack that single parent homes are bad, FU. My mom did a damn good job with me. I have no criminal record. I've only boughten new cars(never used ones), I pay my bills on time, and I'm in a good relationship. So stop basing your assumptions on what you see or heart about in the news.

Alma's mother also had a 1-month-old who was taken into custody by DCFS.

and they should never give it back to her.

This is not about single parent homes. This is about women who repeatedly get pregnant by assholes, have 3 different kids by three different father's by the time they're 25, and every man they hang around is a drunk/drug-using abusive loser with no job. I've seen it a million times. Stupid high school slut gets pregnant. Wants nothing to do with the baby's father. Finds a new loser to leech off of since she has no job and no skills. New loser gets her pregnant again, she leaves him, cycle repeats. One of my berst friends in high school lived in a single parent home. She lived with her dad. He had a $500,000 house, a good job, and he didn't bring home a different drunken whore every weekend and get her pregnant. He is not the type of person I'm talking about.
So, if your mom is a drunken whore who's sleeping with a new guy every 2 weeks, then feel free to be offended by my statement. Otherwise "FU".

Man held in fatal beating of girlfriend's daughter, 6

A 6-year-old girl who got in the middle of a fight between her mother and a boyfriend was beaten to death by the man, police said.

The 26-year-old mother and 24-year-old boyfriend were arguing early Wednesday in a Southwest Side apartment when the little girl, identified as Alma Manjarrez, tried to intervene, officer Thomas Donegan said. Later, around 3:30 a.m., the mother noticed the girl was having difficulty breathing and began to vomit.

Alma was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and later transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she died at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday. The mother was treated at Cook County Hospital.

The names of the mother and her boyfriend were not released.

The man, who is not the girl's father, was in police custody, and the child's death was being investigated as a homicide.

No charges had been filed as of Wednesday evening.
