It makes a lot of sense to go for something other than a TRUE,.. many tower HSF combos are very close to the performance of a TRUE for half the price,... also the money saved,.. create or buying a duct for the HSF, or adding another case fan, will overall outperform the TRUE for same or less money still,...
That being said,.. I would still go along with the crowd and say pass on this,... some reviews show it being very loud,... which is one of my main points anymore,...

xbit states this
"On the other hand, if you are not bothered by the noise from the cooler fans, and do not have a closed system case but rather an open platform, something like what we have in our labs, then the thermo-electric cooler we discussed today may become a pretty good choice for your overclocking needs."

A comparison of some temps to watercooling and aircooling

The thing can cool,... peltiers can, if $$$ and noise are not an issue, be one of the best cooling ways if designed right,... however, I take $$$ and noise very seriously which is why I like air cooling,... and will take a xigmatek S1283 with ducting over a TRUE anyday and only spend 1/2 the $$$ while getting the same performance,... hey that means on that second computer I can also get another setup while the other person only has one!!!
