I picked up this monitor last week for the same price (presidents day sale). I like it so far, especially for the price. Contrast ratio is 800:1...it's pretty bright, had to turn down the brightness a lot. The power supply is built in, just a power cord to plug in. It's surprisingly light though, lighter in fact than the 19" LCD it was replacing. There is an apparently common issue with a buzzing sound at lower brightness settings, but I've found that if you take one of the large metal binder clips (mines almost the exact same size as the bezel) and clip it on the bottom of the screen, right at the logo, it makes it stop...odd but it works.
