Don't underestimate numbers. Luftwaffe was the most powerful and feared air force, they still got their butts kicked by the allies.

What you talkinga bout? 300 years ago the US didn't even EXIST. A century ago Britain had the most powerful navy in the world. Their empire was immense. They were the cat's meow and now look at them. Just another (albeit strong) European nation. History doesn't support the idea that a nation can maintain status as super power. No doubt about it the US won't have it forever. It's not a flash in the pan but things will shift.
Well, I don't think you can compare a century old Britain with present day US. I don't see how it can turn out that some other nation may overtake the superpower status from the US, the US just won't allow it LOL . And I think that the world has become so morally and mentally exhausted that other nations just don't posses the adequate energy and resources to create a super power. I also have to add that I don't know jack about politics, so excuse me if I sound dumb .

They can have 10 Billion men and it wouldn't matter.. they could never afford to deploy them anywhere in such great a number, especially overseas...
Bingo. The U.S. Navy would have China confined to the mainland in less than a day from the arrival of the Seventh Fleet, and it would be the most lopsided naval battle in history.
China and America would never go all out. No one is gonna win., we jsut nuke the crap outta each other. jsut like US and USSR in the cold war. Came close, but no one wanted to press the button
Does China have an ICBM that can reach the US? (I really don't know..I'm curious) Cuz the last I heard, China's ICBMs can POSSIBLY reach Los Angeles and that's about it. If that's the case, they would really have no chance.

One billion men doesn't mean anything if you can't deploy them, and China'a Air Force is a joke as well as their Navy. I am not afraid of China in any capacity, hell they have to steal their technology, what does that tell you. Communism is dead....those idiots just haven't realized it yet.
Nah, the don't have to steal. The just buy the US mil-spec hardware and plans from Israel.
As to being afraid of Chinas army... I might if I lived next to them. Other that that: no, not yet. But in 10 years time, they will have seriously upgraded equipment, and then they will become a real threat.

China's Military: Scared?
Not at all. Not in my lifetime. Of course, empires rise and fall, but it doesn't happen in a year or two. It takes centuries for the civilization to change. And I think that the US can stay a superpower forever. When was the last devastating and world shattering change in the civilization? The falling of the Roman empire, a little less than 2 thousand years ago. Since then, the civilization has stayed almost the same. There has been Western civilization (Europe, and later - Europe and the US), and Eastern (India, China, Arab countries etc). This has remained unchanged for, say, about two thousand years.
Thus, I think it's impossible for us to predict the far future, b/c we can't even imagine what might happen. But in the near future, I don't see China as a threat of any major kind.
