AquaBounty's fast-growing, tank-grown salmon would be one way to increase the amount of fish available while limiting the impact on the ocean via fishing, along with advances in crop farming over the last 50 years. Also, improving economic situations of people coupled with reduced childhood mortality could serve to slow population growth as people will have less of a need to have a lot of children.
You know Salmon need to eat in order to grow and crop need topsoil/water/fertilizer
If you ever grow a lemon or lime tree you be surprise how much water it need per year. I have a 3ft tall mini lime in pot and it product 30-40 limes a year, I am guessing it take about 100-150L of water a year.
I am not a tree huger or doomday prepper but it is alarming
topsoil degradation
deforestation
Record drought
Running out of clean water
Running out of clean air
