Chipotle. And i don't care how they treat their workers. No one is forced to work there.

I only have Chipotle in my town, but we do have FreeBirds Burrito which is like Chipotle, but better in my opinion. Plus they make larger burritos if you want them. The only reason I go to Chipotle is if I want their unhealthy chips and hot sauce.

I have never been disappointed by Chipotle [food]. I'm fucking fanatical about that place.

Highest quality ingredients possible for a chain to acquire. They're very proud of that.

They should quit patting themselves on the back for the quality of the ingredients and focus on making food that has flavor. If Denny's started selling Kobe steaks it would still be Dennys and wouldn't be worth eating.

That. Mexican should be cheap and it should be spicy, Chipotle is neither. If you can't make a burrito taste good and sell for under $3 you should not be in the Mexican food business. I've never gotten Mexican food off a truck that wasn't 10 times better than Chipotle at half the price.

So many Chipotle haters.

First, I've eaten quite a bit of Mexican food truck food and almost none of it was spicy. In fact, I'm fairly certain this whole "Mexican food is spicy" is a bunch of bullshit.

Also, Chipotle just shit canned a major pork supplier because it sounds like they disagreed with the animal treatment. I know my local Chipotle had a sign saying they didn't have any pork as of last night.

I like Chipotle. Some people don't. That's okay.

The problem with Chipotle is unlike Free birds they don't really care about what you want in the burrito. Half the time they quickly skip to the next ingredient before you have a chance to ask for less or extra of the previous one. Also, their hole storefront is like a busy assembly line. It is just way too rushed yet slow at the same time. You wait forever to get your turn, but they act like they don't have 5 seconds for you.

Man, some of you guys must have some piss-poor choices for local restaurants if they're lining up 20 minutes deep for a Chipotle burrito.

404: Mexican not found.

If someone "treating me to Mexican" said I had to choose either of those, I'd treat myself to a new friend.

With that said, I enjoy Chipotle, but refuse to eat there. There ain't no way I am waiting 20+ minutes for that when I can go to a sitdown place and get my food in the same amount of time. Granted, it isn't totally their fault, as the places around here are always packed.

Lol dude. Chipotle did 3.21B in sales for 2013 and calls itself a mexican grill. U mad?

Haha. I agree 100% with this.

It's the truth. That's why you only ever see them in places without any real Mexican food competition. Here in the LA/OC area, they're only in the nice parts of town. No one that can get decent Mexican would go to a Chipotle.

Ain't that the truth. I used to live on the Westside of LA and I'd have to go to East LA or the SFV to get good Mexican. Even worse than Chipotle is Tito's Tacos in Culver City. Not even close to border town or East LA Mexican. The lines for that place are even more puzzling than for Chipotle.

You show up in every Chipotle thread. I feel obligated to counter your false assertions.

The order I described is one of the most consistently flavorful food items I have ever been able to order from any establishment.

- Burrito
- Rice
- No beans
- Fajita veggies
- Chicken (cheaper and more consistent)
- Any salsa (corn is good)
- Cheese
- Sour cream

I'm in heaven.

Beef flavor is highly variable anywhere and more likely to cause intestinal distress from the grease. The more consistent flavor of the chicken is the reason I always go with that.

So based on this thread, neither the entire eastern US or northern California know anything about Mexican food.

They were popular in San Diego too. Granted, I rarely ate there and often chose hole-in-the-wall places of chains like Santana's for the price, they were MUCH better than those other hole-in-the-wall places or chains.

Chipotle for the win.
