The fan on my chipset died a while ago so I ordered the Vantec Iceberq All-In-One-VGA & Chipset Cooling Kit which includes a fan and 2 heat sinks. The thing is, I misreaded the description and thought that the copper fan could be installed on the motherboard chipset but it's only for VGA. The mounting holes are too far apart to fit the fan Do you think if I use my Artic silver compound it's going to be strong enough to stick the thing on the board? Or should I use the heat sinks only and forget about the fan? Are heatsink enough cooling for a Abit IS7 (i865) ?
