Is that the one with about 270 hp? I was surprised at how slow it was in 0-60 for such a powerful and relatively small and light vehicle

It it small, but it isn't light. There's a lot of weight that comes with 4-motion and with the VR6. The body itself is pretty heavy, but the car is solid. You can get more speed for the money by just chipping a 1.8t, the car is lighter and I think you get more torque out of a chipped turbo.

Euro spec R32 output is 240Bhp, and I'd have 4motion over FWD ANY day. And the sound of a V6 beats that crummy 1.8T boom.

Trust me I know, I've driven both. I own a VR6.

Cool. I have the 24v V6 4Motion Golf. Just had the Haldex replaced, drives much better now.
