If you actually read what happened, hate and intolerance is exactly what they were spreading. Carrying a bloody pigs head and yelling you're going to burn in hell is not in keeping with any of the teachings of christ, so they're faux Christians, and they're spreading hate and intolerance. Guess you can call them something, maybe religunuts, or biblers, they sure AF are not Christians.

Now, were their 1st amendment rights not defended equally, that's what an appeals judge decided...that's all, the police could have done more is basically the finding.

But don't delude yourself and behave like the sweet little innocent Christians were just so vicously attacked for peaceful protest...that's your religion goggles on full kaleidoscope mode.

The only reason it doesn't happen any longer (publically) is due to insurance costs... Dearborn already has "Free Speech Zones" in place away from the festivities for when these clowns and their ilk show up again...

We still party every year it's just that the chickenshit "Christians" won't show up down at Ford Field (in Dearborn) where all of us... Muslims, Christians, and Satan Worshipers are partying just like we have every year down at Homecoming. Where if you show up with a pig on a stick we'll just toss it on the BBQ to go along with a nice fattoush salad, some hummus, and fried kibbie...

So it wasn't really cancelled then, they just changed the location. Were insurance costs not an issue when it was open on the streets? Those free speech zones are wrong since free speech should be allowed everywhere. Maybe the Christians dont know the venue changed since they did say they would come back if the festival returned.
