Hammer (and mallet) toe is where a joint of the 2nd/3rd/4th toes are bent up, often from being jammed into high heels. tboo's picture shows it really well. I think Christina has some of that going on too.

But her worst problem seems to be the bunions and severe hallux valgus. Bunion is the swelling and enlargement there at the side of her big toes, and hallux valgus refers to the way the big toes are bent off at an angle. Again -- bad shoes.

Women's feet have it bad when it comes to fashion.
