So I finally installed Chrome since I found an extension in Disconnect that supposedly blocks data from being sent to all kinds of sources. Chrome is fast and I want to stick with it.
1) Does Disconnect really work as advertised? I saw Lifehacker said it was one of the best.
2) In Incognito mode, Disconnect does not appear enabled (no icon), and cannot be installed separately. The message on the incognito opening screen says it doesn't keep cookies, etc. but everything else stays the same (data sending as with default Chrome). So wouldn't I be safer in normal mode with Disconnect? Or am I missing something?
3) Unrelated: none of the extensions work for incognito and cannot be installed.
