The scene where Jester gets up to play, Jeff turns to the cellist and say "watch me for the changes".

EDIT: Its at about 15:00 link to full episode

Yeah, didn't pick up on it until the 2nd time I watched it. Its just another awesome part of this amazing show. They're constantly sneaking in homages to other shows and movies such as Spies Like Us (the most obvious one from this ep was the "i know kungfu" from The Matrix).

One of my favorites was when Chuck flashes on an image while being tested (season 1, 2nd ep) and it happens to be about Oceanic flight 815 being shot down by a missile (the flight from LOST)

Jeffster. A combination of Jeff and Lester.

All in all, a good episode. What the writers considered to be a game changing ending, I found predictable.

I love the casting for this show. Everybody is perfect, from main characters of Chuck, Sarah, and Casey, to Awesome, Ellie, Orion (Scott Bakula! yay!), Morgan, Jeff, Lester, Big Mike, all the Buy More people, all the guest stars...

The season finale was very good until about 1/2 to 2/3 way in, and after that it was still good, but just setting the scene for potential Season 3.
Sure, cheesy ending, but you have to love the partial cheesiness, pop geek references, and humor of the show, or you wouldn't have watched it so far.
Definitely one of my favorite shows of all time so far, and current favorite show. I hope they give it another 2 seasons (don't think they could pull off more than that) and then end it gracefully.

:music: Secret secret! I've got a secret! :music:

Pure subtle tone describing the fact that Chuck is a spy, AND trying to stop the bad guys, AND trying to save the wedding FTMFW!

You know what I've never liked about Chuck? How they handled the whole Fulcrum thing. In most situations with Fulcrum, it felt extremely cheesy because of how Fulcrum had more vaporware than Duke Nukem.... Until Chevy Chase, there was no resemblance of any sort of higher up guy (and he's not even at the top), which makes it all feel a bit empty. It's like Star Trek being filled with only red shirts.

I have a feeling that this new group of spies will be just as bad. You attempt to fill us in with fear of some sort of organization that we know absolutely nothing about... it's like having a rational fear of the bogeyman.

True, they don't flesh out the bad guys that much. I think it's because they walk the line between being a parody/comedy of the whole spy genre and being an actual spy show. I think Fulcrum was meant to be that "generic" force working against them that the writers rely on to be the dependable bad guys throughout the series, while more serious and intimately evil threats come later on in the show. Fulcrum will probably take backseat until end of series (assuming this is not the end, and just the midpoint), while Chuck and crew battles a succession of different bad guys. The show finale would probably be final showdown/takedown of Fulcrum, and possibly widespread infestation of CIA, NSA, etc (Chuck vs Everyone).

Well, the issue for me is that all comedies have rising and falling action to them... typically some point of contention that keeps the viewer interested, but I have a hard time being interested when the evil organization seems like a band of unorganized thugs in suits. Essentially, Fulcrum is boring and unable to stimulate drama for me, which even though Chuck is more of a comedy, even comedies must have rising and falling action (it's a natural part of a real story). Because of Fulcrum, Chuck never became much more than a kiddy roller coaster for me in quite a few of the episodes. I mean sure, I can giggle at the silly shit on the wall, but when I get out of the car at the end, I just say, "That's it?"
