If the Democrats had allowed citizens to fully participate in the primary process, Hillary would not have been the candidate, neither would Sanders, and whomever the Democratic choice was, would have won the election.I'm interested to hear what you want to force these private organizations to do. It's also interesting that you appear to think that the party that got the most votes is the one that didn't listen to the citizens.
Anyone who isn't consumed by partisanship should be able to recognize that hostile foreign powers deliberately acting to influence our elections is a very large problem, one that demands both severe consequences for that power as well as a strong look at what we can do to limit it in the future.
What's quite ironic is what is the main focus of the CIA: the email hack of the DNC. I stated a few replies earlier the immediate reaction should be to invest in greater cyber security, which I fully expect the DNC to already be doing. The ironic part of this is which side has been harping on email security being a top issue? And which side has nearly totally dismissed it because, sides? Everything comes back down to partisanship. If the left were not so consumed by partisanship, they would have taken greater steps towards more secured email systems prior to the hack and subsequent leak of DNC emails.
It's a chicken & egg situation, and you still want to declare the answer based on your own partisan bias.
