About 1.5 months ago, I made the move from Cigs to E-Cigs.

I'm at 6mg and plan to go to 3mg in another month.

It wasn't easy at first, especially if I added alcohol.

Now I no longer crave a cigarette, but I do the nicotine from the e-cig.

WBU?

I smoked for 20 years, about a pack a day. Then I took chantix and quit. A little bit after I picked up a vape. I'm running a Kanger 120w Mod with a Uwell Crown 2 tank.I wouldn't have it any other way. Been cigarette free for well over a year and will be approaching 2 shortly.

Some of my friends smoke. It smells disgusting. I'll never smoke a cig again. I can't even remember the last time I had a craving.

Did it back in 2013. Started with the high nicotine juice, and went step by step to nicotine free over about 10 months. Then stopped vaping completely. All of it is a complete waste of money.

54mg !?! Wow...l've been vaping 24mg juice for about 3 years...and that's considered to be STRONG STUFF!

I haven't had a "real" cigarette in over 4 years. I really should taper off the juice...but I don't wanna.

I've been using a Nautilus tank for a couple of years, changed up to the Triton coils last year, using an Aspire Pegasus Mini mod running between 18-20 watts.

I wish masturbating was more socially acceptable and smoking was less socially acceptable.

made the switch a couple of months ago, still smoke sometimes when I'm out drinking with other (party)smokers, but I don't crave cigarettes at all anymore, they smell and leave a disgusting taste. I usually have a pack of cigarettes on or near me but I never feel like taking one out unless I'm shitfaced, it's more for my friends/coworkers when they need to bum a cigarette.

I smoked for 35 years. In July of 2014 I had dual PE's which are blood clots in the lungs. I haven't picked up a cigarette since but replaced smoking with a vape. Started at 24mg and am down to 3mg now. I haven't craved a cigarette since I started vaping.

It's been a year or so since I last vaped.

I didn't intentionally quit cigarettes, but the more I used my vaporizer, the worse cigarettes started to taste (and the desire to smoke them continually shrank until it disappeared). Was originally on 24mg juice as well, now at 3-4mg.

Yeah, I don't think I've even seen anything higher than 24mg, honestly.

Successfully went from a pack a day to vaping in 2014, 18mg. I dropped the nic steadily over a year until I bottomed out at 2mg. I only want a cig after I have had a lot to drink and the three or four times I have actually had one I feel miserable the next day. I tried switching to vapes several times before going back to 2010 but the little pen sized vapes just didn't work at the time. If you can stay small you can save money over cigs but it seems every six months I upgrade and have probably spent $1,000 on mods over the last three years.

My problem was never the nic craving as much as breaking the habit. Vapes can solve both issues but only if you get the right setup for you. I do plan to quit vaping at some point as well.

I'm pretty sure 24mg is the highest you are going to find pre-mixed. Anything more than that and you are buying concentrate and making your own. But I could be wrong.

What's your goal? Is it to quit your addiction or to somewhat mitigate the affects and continue your addiction.

I did last spring/summer after smoking for about 10 years (a pack a day about). The first week was hard as fuck cause I was constantly jonesin for a cig but after that it wasn't bad at all actually. I hardly ever think about it now. About a month or two ago I did break down and buy a pack cause I wanted to try one again but I was surprised at how much I was like "meh" after smoking a real cig. I figured I'd really like it but I didn't. Smoked maybe half the pack and threw the rest away. I use 18 mg e-juice now and will give this up at some point but I'm in no hurry.

I've gone through several e-cig devices and I now have an Eleaf iStick 50W with a Horizon Cerakoat tank. I like this setup way more than anything else I've owned; sure the battery is bigger but it lasts far longer than the other ones I've had and the tank is fairly leak proof though not totally (all the various tanks I've had have leaked, SMH).

Long term study shows vaping to be much safer than smoking cigs

http://www.dailydot.com/debug/e-cigarette-vaping-effects-long-term-study/?fb=ss&prtnr=someecards

"We have, over the decades, mostly come to a consensus on the dangers of smoking combustible cigarettes—a conclusion founded on countless long-term studies. Until now, e-cigarette studies have simply either analyzed the product or investigated the effects on animal and cell models.

A new study funded by Cancer Research UK is the first to explore the effects of e-cigarettes by looking at long-term human body-level exposure. The results are promising.

The study looked at five groups: combustible cigarette users, former smokers who now smoke e-cigs, former smokers on nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), and current smokers who also smoke e-cigs or also use NRT.

The study concluded that e-cigarette-only and NRT-only users had significantly lower levels of carcinogens than combustible cigarette-only, smokers of both cigarettes and e-cigs, and smokers of cigarettes who are also NRT users.

After analyzing the urine and saliva of 181 participants, researchers found that levels of NNAL, a chemical linked to cancer, was 97.5 percent lower in ex-smokers who vape compared to continuous smokers.

"The take-home message for smokers and e-cigarette users is that using e-cigarettes long-term is likely to carry substantial health benefits, certainly in relation to cancer risk, compared with continued smoking. E-cigarettes are certainly safer than combustible cigarettes," Lion Shahab, one of the scientists working on the study, told Digital Trends.

Cancer isn’t the only risk when smoking cigarettes. Shahab says the next test will need to look at smokers over a longer period of time to determine their respiratory and cardiovascular health.

Until that happens, e-cigarette smokers can worry more about their devices exploding than anything else."

To fully quit.

I've tried previously and failed every time. I've broken the cravings for cigarettes now. Now I just need to drop the nicotine

I quit smoking several years ago, willpower alone. GF tried gum and patches but failed. Last ditch effort she tried E-Cig. Now, nearly four years later and she hasn't smoked. Still e-cigs though with really low nicotine levels. I try the different flavors every so often but there is really no urge or compulsion to bother with it any more.

Raises hand.
Love cigars but never can enjoy them for obvious reasons.
My favorite setup, ironically is a Kennedy Ruby 25.
Favorite e-liquid would have to be Naked100 Eurogold Tobacco 3mg.
No vaping experience gets closer to a cuban than this.
With dual five wrap 18gauge Kanthal A1 4mm ID coils on a Sony VTC6 18650 it hits great.
For regulated boxes I like DNA200 or 250 devices.
Best flavor rta would be the Dotmod Petri RTA. Coupled to a COV megavolt box at 60W you have a great stealthy combo that's currently hard to top for flavor and vapor.
Goon 22 and 24mm RBA with the 22 having the flavor advantage.
Kennedy 25mm (two post) is also outstanding especially if you like more vapor production without the typical sacrifice in flavor. With some really large staple fused claptons it laughs at 175W pulls. But it's a LOT of vapor.

some of you guys really vape some major nicotine amounts. over 20mg? holy shit.

I smoke a mix of two juices that I combine, pretty much 50/50 - one is 12mg and one is 6 mg. So I'm vaping 9mg and I thought that was high.

I have no interest in stopping to vape anytime soon. Perhaps one day.

Yes those amounts are high. I tried 18mg before and I had to ask for help finding my throat.

I really wish my friends would stop smoking and start vaping instead. Every time I see someone smoking regular cigarettes, I have to wonder if there's just something wrong with their reasoning ability.

I never smoked a cigarette and started vaping. Never had a craving for cigarettes, but now I have very strong cravings for naked man butt.
