We are currently looking for a computer tech in the cincinnati area to do contract work for our new company. We specialize in online sales and are in the process of building our computer repair and new builds department. Your job duties would include but not limited to...
1.New Computer Builds
2.Software Installations
3.Desktop and Laptop Repairs
4.In Home Setups
5.Home Networking
6.Basic Phone Support

In addition we would like someone that is Microsoft Certified and has worked in this field before. However we will review all Resume's we recieve and choose the best canidate.

We are located in Fairfield a Suburb of Cincinnati,Ohio.

I live in Florence, Ky, about 10 mi. south of Cincinnati. I am qualified in all of the areas you listed and have a resume. I am a full time college student, will that interfere?

I am also a full time college student, my partner is a retired gentleman who is available almost 24/7 to handle things while i am otherwise engaged. The job is contract work so we get the people in there and you come do the work when available. If the business picks up it could be a full time position with benefits and salary. This is a great oppurtunity for someone to get thier foot in the door in a brand new business.

Is it just contract work? No benefits?

Purely contract atm, unfortunatly we are just really getting started, we don't have large investors or anyone who could afford to pay benefits. The upside is, if you do 5 jobs in 1 hour, which isn't really that hard, you could make much more than you could working for somebody, we pay a precentage of what we charge, not a salary rate, so you could make $2000 dollars 1 week, $100 the next. Now once we get going and are bringing in large ammounts of business, we will be going full benefits, full time work, with very nice wages, more than you could ever make working for gateway. But i don't want to lead anyone along, this isn't a job for full time work " yet " its contract work to get established with a garentee of salary once we have enough work.

It's not necessary to bump this every 2 hours, the only threads which should be continually bumped are FS/FT.

I got a question about certification. The low level certs, such as MSCE and CNNA, do these help a college MIS grad, or are these only for people who didn't goto college.

Really the certification is something thats gained for those who didn't get a full degree, atleast from my very limited knowledge of the computer tech world. Basically we are just looking for someone who has a wide base of knowledge that involves computers. This is the ideal position for someone who wants to make a good ammount of cash on the side without feeling obligated to a set schedule and a set paycheck.
