Got me. I did it for an hour, then back to stock overnight (in a SETI race and overnight did not want it to shut down or reboot)wow, is it stable at 4.1?
I just did 3408@4.1
Exactly, but the top 2% of the dies are selected.Seems like threadripper is literally just 2 ryzen 1600x and 1800x on one cpu.
Nice CB15 score!Exactly, but the top 2% of the dies are selected.
Nice CB15 score!
Why people say top 2% when AMD slide says 5%?
Source: http://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3015-amd-threadripper-1950x-1920x-review?showall=1Per-core overclocking is not available on Threadripper, and won’t be. Overclocking can be done in core pairs, with OC expectations similar to Ryzen. AMD noted that the Threadripper CPUs consist of the top 5% of presorted Ryzen dies (though later changed this number to 2%, depending on who was talking).
Ahhhh OK Thanks! It's unclear which number is correct.
64 at a time is really trippy (2990wx)This thread doesn't get much love anymore. So have some!

Watching it render 24 segments at a time is pretty trippy.
