why do you have your VTT at 1.375v for ~ 2700MHz .

The reason my VTT is at 1.375 was because im currently downclocking from 180 Bclk and it wasent stable with less then about 1.36 vtt without going over 1.35 vcore on 180. So atm im going downwards on Bclk to find a suitable temperature with lower fan speeds. Likewise i will go down on VTT and Vcore. Hope to find a setting between 160-176 Bclk (as high as possible with a certain unknown temperature). Started overclocking 2 days ago.

Would also think my 6x2gb sticks will require the VTT to be higher? Seem to have picked that up somewhere.

Currently downed:

Vcore: 1.3
VTT / QPI/DRAM: 1.3

IOH: 1.18
(Thought here was; I think read somewhere that 1GPU should be 1.1 and the gtx 1070 is much stronger then the gpu's at the time most of the guides were written. Im not an expert, i like to learn by trying)

Max core temp;
Idle about 30c,
Full load about 77(72-80)c.
Which was about same with previous voltage listed above. Might have dropped 3c for dropping voltage about 0,6 on both vcore and vtt

This is a gaming rig which i doubt will reach full load that often, so im satisfied with the settings, but i want to be able to lower the fans so i might lower the cpu speed. Don't think im willing to buy a high-end cpu cooler as i have a decent one. And i like the fractal define xl black pearl altough i wish i went with something that has slightly more "aircontact" with the outside, not relying to much on the front air intake

Edit:
1.3 vcore and vtt was unstable. So atm downed Bclk to 175, gonna try with same voltage.

Idle: 30c
Full load: 70-78c

2 degress lower Bclk 1.76 -> 1.75

Neat data. Have you contributed any scores from your VIA CPUs to the Blender Ryzen, Handbrake, and Cinebench threads?

I'd be really interested to see how they fare. If you decide to do Ryzen please also test The Stilt's "SIMD" build so we can see what kind of boost the VIA CPUs can get from a build that better uses modern instructions.

Ran this benchmark on my Dell Latitude E5270 w/ i5-6300u, 16GB DDR4, Win 10 Pro. Single Core test was running @ 2.95GHz; Multi @ 2.92GHz:

Anyone else get higher scores in the newer version of CB R15.038 (Dec 2016) versus the older R15.037 (Sept 2013)?

Small difference on this system, 9~12 points,..
i7-3770 @ 4012MHz(100.3x40)
4x4GB DDR3-1600 8-8-8-24-2T
Cinebench Scores ran a few times each,.
R15.037: 733~736
R15.038: 744~745

Prepare to be dazzled!

Pffft, that's nothing.

I'll see your Bay Trail, I raise you this!

oh... R15 is 64 bits only, this piece of crap runs 32 bit software. Oh well, R11.5 32bit it is

SO POWERFUL!

First gen Atom has aged so poorly. 25mm^2 45nm CPU only + 945GM chipset. At least it runs XP and Android X86 pretty well on 2GB RAM. W7 struggles even when cut down like in this screenshot.

I'll leave you to your 64 bit capable CPUs and R15 benching, don't mind me. I'll show myself out

Oof! Not sure I can manage that, though with some better memory profiles . . . we'll see.

Quickly tried to find the highest overclock my 4790K could hit on stock voltage and ran a couple of quick Cinebench runs:

7740X @ 4.8GHz, Uncore @ 4.4GHz, Memory @ 4133 18-18-18-38 timings. These are most likely the overclock settings I'll use for 24/7 use.
