make sure you go to WWW.wirefly.... if you leave out the "www," you get directed to some fishy looking web site. I don't understand why AT isn't letting me put up the linky for deal #1... ?!

I have Cingular and I called them to ask about Wirefly. They said be careful when dealing with them because a lot of people have been calling Cingular support with various complaints about Wirefly. I think I'm going to pass on the deal. I can go without a new phone if it means saving me the massive headache that always comes with cellular stuff.

Yeah, the Wirefly complaints are probably for the rebates they offer, but the deal I posted involves no rebates, so it looks mighty hot to me. Also, check out the Amazon deal link I posted - you can MAKE money on the RAZR if you deal with their rebate - which is very reliable.

Free RAZR with 2 years contract from Wirefly. It is the same with our local vendor or Sams Club. Not bad but I refer to deal with the locals if the internet vendor couldn't give me a better deal.

This wirefly place on the web, has been around a while. Moreover, they've been screwing customers out of their rebates for just as long. Funny how people will let their guard down just to get something that sounds too good to be true. The people on this forum are awesome at finding legitimate "Hot Deals". And like many others out there that may view much more than post, I thank all of you. Uncle, Ross, Allisolm, just to name a few. For those that don't know Wirefly has a pretty low rating still. My brother got screwed over by Wirefly when he got his new service. I on the other hand, chose another company once I ended my contract with Sprint. I went to www.letstalk.com for a new Cingular plan and received a Sony Ericsson W600i phone for free. I paid $200 up front for the phone, but received 2x$50 VISA gift cards within a month or two, and then a check from Letstalk for $100 after I hit 6 months for the whole customer loyalty thing.

I wholeheartedly stand behind Letstalk wireless based on my experience with them, and that they do really work. If anyone has any questions, feel free to email me and I'll give you all the details.

Actually, I'm currently thinking of selling my W600i phone to pay for my early cancellation fee, so I can sign a new contract w/ Sprint through Letstalk and get another free phone. Sprint service is better, IMHO, in TX, but we'll see.

That "ref" part doesn't mean it was a referral link. I'm beginning to be offended by your paranoid behavior... Really. All I did was go to Amazon's home page, search "cingular," then navigate to the Cingular phones, then copy and paste the link. You should spend less time flaming out of ignorance, and more time contributing to the good of the forum.

Only thing about Cingular w/ rebates and letstalk.com is that you can't transfer your phone number from Verizon... argh.

beware of wirefly.

They've had so many complaints with the BBB that they kicked them out of the BBB.

That's pretty damn bad when you can't even retain BBB credentials.

1. It's paranoid people like Duddy and Unheard that keep me comin back to this place.
2. 2400+ combined posts is a lot of good to this forum.
3. You sound ridiculous chastising people that have been around here for half a decade on your 4th post.
4. Good lookin out on the deals! Keep up the good work.

but honestly, it should be common knowledge that amazon automatically inserts the /ref whenever you click on a link inside their site. the poster claims he copied and pasted and i don't see any reason why believing him will do us any harm. not everyone is perfect when making posts and if it was a referral, AT would've probably banned him by now.
