This seems like a good deal to me, please tell me if you think otherwise so I can return it. However, it seems pretty hot to me.
@ Buy.com
Cingular Nokia 3360 $90
-$90 instant rebate
Safechat handsfree kit $60
-$60 instant rebate
shipping ~$6
Basically, I got the phone and kit shipped to me for $6, PLUS there is an additional $50 mail in rebate. Minus the $37 activation fee, I still clear $13.
Now for the calling plan. I'm not a heavy user, but I do travel so I went with the 250 national plan. 250 anytime minutes, 1000 Nights and Weekends (9pm-7am). Plus free longdistance and no roaming? $30.
Perhaps someone who is more familiar with this plan can enlighten me:
Seems to me, wherever I can get a signal, regardless of who owns the tower, I'm in the free. So if I visit my parents in Iowa, where there is no cingular coverage, and I place a call, it doesn't cost me a dime?
If all this is true, seems damn hot to me. Your thoughts?
