If you activated a cingular phone on Monday at 3:30 PM , how long should it be before you are able to use it?
I activated my phone on monday at 3:30, she says it should work in a few hours but today is Wed and it still does't work. anyone know how long it normally takes? when i start phone it says service not avaliable, i am in los angeles

I have AT&T and it took only a few hours to activate with a Nokia 8260.

wow that was fast, got any idea why its taking my cingular phone so long.

You may have a bad SIM card or not have one at all! It should only take an hour or two max to provision the service once you have been approved for credit, etc. Your best bet is to go the a Cingular center deal with a real person instead of calling them.

You should edit your subject to "Mod's please delete - Wrong Forum".

I had cingular service before the system busies and activation was instant I have verizon right now and that was instant as well
