Go to www.CircuitCity.Com and search for Zenith Remote.

That search results in a page showing Zenith 5 remotes, only one of which seems to be the "3-function" remote that pete777 mentioned -- the $9.99 ZEN350B. This **might** be the one.

Can anyone comment on:

1) The Panasonic 2 way radio KXTR320S. Quality? Comparison to Motorola's Talkabout 250 (available from Staples for $59.99 - $10 mir).

(Not sure this Panasonic is "on sale." It's been listed on Circuit City's web site for the same $59.99 for 1-2 weeks, with a $30 mir -- $29.99 net cost.


2) Will the Plantronic headset work with the Panasonic FRS radios (for hand's-free, VOX operation)?

Good advice ribbet, I guess I wasn't thinking. I found one that fits the description but I need one that will operate a tv/vcr combo. Anyone out there own one of these and can check for me?

de8212, I have one of these, the little manual doesn't say anything about combo units, nor do I own a combo unit. But perhap you can just use the TV button for tv function and the VCR button for vcr functions ??? For under a dollar ( tax plus stamp ) it might be worth a shot.

Thanks for the post. I've done a lot of Circuit City rebates without problems. They make it easy by printing out the rebate forms at the register and giving you extra copies of your receipts. They also usually only require a copy of the UPC which is kinda nice if you want to use the stuff as gifts. You don't have to cut up the package. I've never had to call them about my rebates either, unlike most places - especially CompUSA.

Just picked up the Zenith universal remote and TDK cdr's. Picked up the very last Zenith 3 source remote. Works like a charm on all of my TVs and VCRs. The CSR said I could just come back on saturday and pick up the rebates, and even reminded me to check the fine print to see if I have to purchase it on the said dates, and if that was the case than just return it and re-purchase it. Very friendly CSR, which is rare these days.
