circuit city big box PC games $5.00

at Circuit City alot of the big box games are $5.
I just bought Ghost Recon and Operation Flashpoint for 5 dollars each.
The prices arent marked 5 on the games but that's what they ring up as at the register.

I think it will vary from store to store what big box games they have left.
At my local store they had Ghost Recon, Operation Flashpoint, Alice, Rogue Spear Black Thorn
and maybe about 10 others that I cant remember what they were.
And they had Diablo 2 for $15.00 and several others.
But remember the boxes arent marked, you need to ring them up at the register.

Nice find. I picked up Red Alert 2, Madden 2002, and Cossacks for 4.99 each. Also picked up Black Thorn for 9.99. The guy at the register was pretty suprised...

Thanks to the OP. I stopped by my CC this afternoon and picked up few of these games. I was talking to the CSR about the price drop while she was ringing me up. She said that the prices had dropped in their computer system for some time but they were never marked down with a tag/sticker. If you checked out they rang up at the lower price but since the sticker still showed the original price nobody knew it. This is why I found Descent3 for $49.99 on the shelf a few months ago.

Also, my CC had many other games marked down so it's not just the old big box games. Some of the $30-$40 games dropped by $10-$15. I found Half-Life Platinum Collection big box for $19.99.

i only found half life blue shift big box. it comes with opposing force and stuff and doesn't need half life to play. what i don't know is whether the key is good for Counterstrike?

I found WWIIonline bundled with sudden strike. Red Alert 2, Klingon Academy, and tiger Hunt (small box)
each for $5. Also saw Starcraft battle Chest for $5

All of them had the $4.99 price sticker on the box.

Yeah I got Europa Universalis, Kohan:Ahrim's Gift, and FIFA Soccer 2002. They had a few others I was thinking about like: Q3 Team Arena, R6 Raven Shield Platinum pack, Destroyer Commnad, Red Faction, Starcraft Battlechest thingyST:Elite Force, ST:Kilingon Academy, and Blue Shift all for $5. This was at both the CC stores in Madison WI.

Funny thing the games were stickered at $4.99; but some rang up at $19.99; just the opposite of what some other posters saw.

I was hoping for Cossacks, like other people have found. Oh well. If anybody wants to trade me Cossacks for any of the games above, PM me.

that reabte didn't expire the 31st of march last year? my copy of blue shift had this round yellow circle...
