Circuit City WD 100GB for FREE after $50 rebate.

CC is clearing out their 100GB WD drives. These are 2MB buffer. The price is $92.96-50%, then has a $50 mail in rebate that ends Dec. 31, 2003. Rebate must be mailed in within 90 days of purchase. I saw one at my local store but the other guy grabbed it so I lose out on it.
Check you local store at the computer area there is an end cap with these items with 50% off.
I don't know if these are local events but it was too good to be true.
But it was true.

Hey guys,
They don't put them with the other hard drives. They have a special endcap to put these clearance items. You have to dig behind if there are a lot of items in front. For the past 3 to 2 months ago, I stop by every week and never seen the 100GB WD. However, they must took those left over from the back. So though you can call it YMMV, they might have brought some as they clean the back up, just like at OM. So it does not hurt to try. For those who cry YMMV and not sure whether or not they have it at your local store, are you willing to risk such a good deal? Would you all say that it's a better deal than the Dell's 200GB. Of course it is, FREE after rebate and only one rebate. I guaranty this. Those who planning to go to Fullerton, CA store, there is no more left. The guy took the last one. If only I was 1 minute early.

It's the WD1000BB. The clearance endcap is normally during the holidays. That's why. My friend scored one in SoCal. He said there's no more. A few of the northern Cal stores still have these left. Corporate orders to take 50% off and price is now $92.96-50% off. The thing is if they don't print the label as instructed from corporate and stick it on the drive, you won't get the 50% off, but only with a $50 rebate. I will have the receipt later if anyone wants to host it for the rest.

Model # WD100BBRTL is all I could find, and it rang up as $123. I'm guessing this is a different item from Model # WD1000BB?
