UGH. Please just order 1. I honestly don't know whether the idiots who respond that they want '3 or 4' really want to know advice on whether it's feasible, or if they are just trolling. Because you are going to get ridiculed. Jerks. I hope you buy 5 and all your rebates get denied on a tecnicality. But of course you can always start up your CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS. Great, to paraphrase from Lewis Black "Greedy, stupid and litigious - the American trifecta."

I got mine - have to pick up from store (better in my opinion) this afternoon.

Hope it works out for both rebates - I think I'll call and get a name of someone who authorized it before I start slicing my box apart.

The main reason i want the 8 meg is for the extended warrenty, but someone noted that you can purchase it from WD for an addition 15$ per drive, i'm definitly drooling...

On a side note, I'm not fully understanding of all the intricacies of pricematching, but this can't be pricematched from staples to beat dealing with the rebates can it?

at the bottom of the rebate? or does it not matter anymore to these companies.
does it also mean that it's only 1 rebate can be applied per HD?

Thats not greedy..its the way the system works..i mean they say that they say they will beat all others prices..and hey if thats the case then let them.. yeah i am sure its just picking little pocket change but still its the principle of the thing

Hope that $60 comes through. Might play it safe and send in the $60 and $10 wait for them to accept/process then cut the UPC.

$10 rebate form has to be post marked by 5/26
$60 rebate form has to be post marked by 5/24 (30 days from purchase)
$80 rebate form has to be post marked by 5/24 (30 days from purchase)

So I could submit the $10 and $60 and wait 3-4 weeks to see if they process it. If not, I'm returning it.
