Scored one in-store in Grandville, MI. Appears out of stock now according to the web site but there was one left on the shelf when I left and the store was empty. AT effect strikes again.

BTW it had a slip of paper that said it was the 8MB cache version, so woot!

It does however have a 1-year warranty which you can extend to 3 years through WD for $19.95 or buy the 4-year extended plan at CC for $24.95

if this 120gb hdd does not have all 3 rebates... this is NOT a good deal...
at southern cali, you can get a 180gb 8mb buffer for $100 after rebate.... that IS a good deal before this $10 hdd

so if the rebates are not valid... i suggest that y'all should return the hdd... i am still debating... i got my ordered place

I got the 8mb versio also It comes with 1-year warranty which you can extend to 3 years through WD for $19.95 Not bad even at $70

I just scored one in Minneapolis, MN. It seems in-store pickup is not available anymore around the Minneapolis area.

I don't know why the rebates wouldn't be valid. People have called and verifed at the Norwood Young America rebate center. As long as they're purchased between 4/24 and 4/26 for the $10 and $80 and between 4/1 and 4/30 for the $60.

What was the talk about the $60 rebate not supposed to be until next week? Maybe I'm just overtired, but it seems that all three rebates are currently active.

Went to Valley Forge store in PA to pick up my internet purchase - smooth as silk. My buddy came along and ws bummed he missed out on deal. He went back to shelf and there was ONE sitting back there - even though their site said out of stock. Needless to say he was very happy.

I ordered one for in-store pick up and I am not at all concerned about the rebates.

1. Keep a copy of the web page with all three rebates listed
2. Keep a copy of the confirmation e-mail that lists all three rebates.
3. If it makes you feel comfortable send a copy of the web page and confirmation e-mails with the $60 rebate and copy of upc. Write a short note explaining why you are sending the copy & not the original.

Same kind of thing has happened many times on CC deals (All in Wonder 8500DV comes to mind) and I have received all the rebates every time with absolutely no hassle!

DISCLAIMER: I can only convey my experience and confidence in this deal. Obviously ymmv.

I wonder if CC pulled this from their site because I ran a search in all of the stores in the Milwaukee and Chicago area and they are out of stock. I find that hard to believe. I think once CC found out about the snafu with the overlapping rebates, they pulled this. Just my theory.. Could be wrong.

This is a great deal if all the rebates go through. I have faith that they will, however my brother does not.

I have already purchased mine but before he ordered he also called the Young America number and was told that he would need an original UPC for both WD rebates. I think the person he got just didn't know but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I picked mine up in Milwaukee. The only one left that wasn't on reserve was in their display case and it wasn't in their system.

I bet they only had a few of these to begin with. Btw, mine is only a 2mb cache.

WMA8Cxxxxx is my serial and I did not get an 8MB, or at least there is nothing indicating that in the box. I haven't installed it yet.

Just called and spoke to someone at the rebate center (888-292-0667) and they said only one of the rebates would be honored. She said that they would not pay both the $80 and $60 rebates. She also said that they had a lot of calls today about these rebates.
