Just talked to Mike from circuit city, #1924 (thats his code or whatever)... CC has a memo for all employees - if you bought the drive on the 24th
then you are eligible for all 3 rebates. I asked him if time mattered he said no - just the 24th. So what the memo says is to send all rebate material in as it states originally - in the $80 give the original upc - in the $60 give a copy with a note saying you purchased on the 24th so the original iswith the $80 rebate and you should be all set. I just talked to him at 8:15am so this is the most recent news.

I doubt it, at least for the $60/80 rebates, in fact I just got an email yesterday saying they recieved the $10 rebate. But they are 2 diffrent rebate processing centers.

I did get the email notice for the $80 rebate but so far have not received the check. No notice about the $60. Both rebates were sent in at the same time (two envelopes).

The CC $10 rebate showed up on their rebate web page.

It's the beginning of June. Posting concerns now is pointless. You all now about the 8-12 weeks rule before they even talk to you about any rebate issues.

Whoever gets these before July is exceptionally lucky.

Bought the drive on 4/24 and just found out that Western Digital denied my $80 rebate. I called and asked about the reason for being denied and they said I failed to send the UPC. I told them I had a copy of my UPC and they asked for details. It was below the drive capacity label and she said that was the wrong one, that there was another I was supposed to send instead and that I am out of luck. I told her I still have the box (which I actually do) and there is NO OTHER UPC on the box. She said "well I don't know, I can't help you any further." So apparently I am getting screwed on this drive and Western Digital has no intention of sending me the $80 rebate.

If that's the case, I'll pry it out of my system and demand a refund from Circuit City. For $10 AR, it's a steal. For $90 AR, I can live without it.

Anyone still have a copy of their $60 or $80 rebate form? I could've sworn I saved a copy of those forms to my disk or printed some extra copies, but they are nowhere to be found and the onlinesharing.com link is dead. I just called the rebate center and I have to resubmit my stuff since they conveniently never got my original submission. I have a copy of my receipt and UPC, but no rebate forms. AAAARRGGGG....

but it could also be that since this rebate was a mixup, they could be handling it separately and that could explain not being in their system...an optimistic view of the situation at best considering that some have received the mentioned rebates
